As a storm front moves in from the East Coast, communities have pushed back Halloween festivities to avoid the rainy weather.
All Wednesday trick-or-treating events in the Patch, including Robinson, Crescent, Coraopolis and Moon Township, have been cancelled.
High winds and flooding are possible during the remainder of the week, as Hurricane Sandy moves inland from the East Coast.
New trick-or-treating times are as follows:
- Robinson has rescheduled trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
- Crescent will also hold trick-or-treat on Saturday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Coraopolis will hold trick-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
- Moon Township will hold trick-or-treat from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The township will send a SwiftReach alert to residents to notify them of the change.
