RMU Unveils New School of Business
Donors and alumni gather for a glimpse of the Moon university's new building.
Robert Morris University last night opened the doors to its new, 18,000-square-foot School of Business complex to alumni and donors.
There was a reception marking the university's 90th anniversary and the opening of the new facility, which will house multimedia classrooms, an 18-seat Cisco teleconference room, and 12 Bloomberg terminals to give students real-time financial market data.
The building is funded through a $40 million capital fund-raising campaign, the largest in the university's history. According to the university, $36 million has already been raised toward the goal.
The university was founded in September 1921. In 2009, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accredited RMU's School of Business.
