Ridge Road Man Charged with Stealing Electricity

Moon Township Police made the following recent arrests and responded to the following recent incidents. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt. 

• Augustus Festus Brown, 20, of Creighton, is charged with theft of services, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession fo drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after police said neighbors reported he was stealing electricity from a Ridge Road home. 

• Police said they found an extension cord running from Brown's home on the 1500 block of Ridge to an outlet at a neighboring house. Police also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Brown's home, according to a report.

• Candice Marie Zickefoose, of Pittsburgh, was charged with simple assault and public drunkeness at 7 p.m. Aug. 10.

• Robert P. Byerly, 44, of Carlisle, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and overtaking vehicle on the right at midnight Aug. 11 on University Boulevard. 

• Angela Lena Brown, 25, of McKees Rocks, was charged with retail theft at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Super Kmart on Market Place Boulevard.
