Robinson Police: Bar Brawl Stabbing Injures Collier Man

A man is stabbed outside a Campbell's Run Road bar.

Robinson officers said a late-night scuffle at a Campbell's Run Road bar ended with a man suffering life-threatening stab wounds.

Police said Adam Pastorak, 29, of Collier Township, was found just before 2 a.m. Sept. 1 laying on the floor of Bishop's American Cafe, bleeding heavily from wounds in his right eye and back from an apparent stabbing.

When authorities arrived, bar patrons surrounded the injured man, one putting pressure on his back to suppress the bleeding, police described in a report.

Ryan Francis, 23, of Scott, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault in connection to the stabbing, according to police records.

After an argument at the bar just before last call, Pastorak and Francis engaged in a fight in the parking lot.

Francis pulled a knife from his car, stabbing Pastorak in the back and face during the brawl, police said.

Francis and his friends, who were at the bar for a birthday celebration, fled. A bartender took down the vehicle's license plate number, which police tracked to a Collier Township home, where they found Francis.

One of Francis's friends told police the group left because they were "scared for their life."

Pastorak was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries. He was listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

Francis will face a preliminary hearing Sept. 11 in Robinson District Court.

Update: Pastorak has been released from the hospital, according to police.
