Pittsburgh Airport Chamber of Commerce Announces Sally Haas Memorial
The chamber unveils the Sally Haas Memorial Fund.
The Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce has created an endowment fund in the name of its late president Sally Haas, who died on Dec. 27, weeks after undergoing surgery.
The Sally Haas Memorial Fund will be used to "further those initiatives that were especially meaningful to Haas," according to a statement from the organization. Those who would like to make a donation can visit the chamber's website.
Chamber members can also submit donations during the organization's Mark of Excellence Awards ceremony on Jan. 17.
Donations to the endowment fund will be acknowledged in chamber publications or can be made anonymously.
Haas had served as president of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, which represents businesses in both Moon and Robinson, since 1998.
