Update: Pedestrian Hit on Corporate Center Drive

The woman was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital. Police say the incident is still under investigation.

A woman was flown to UMPC Mercy Friday after she was struck by a car near Beaver Grade Road. 

 said the woman was hit by a vehicle at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 100 Corporate Center Drive. 

Police found the woman, who they have not identified, on the ground. She was flown to UPMC Mercy Hospital from the scene. Her condition is unknown.

Police identified the driver of the vehicle as David Ruev. Ruev remained at the scene of the crash until police arrived. He was taken to for a blood test and released. 

No charges have been filed and the incident is still under investigation, according to a statement from Moon Police.
