Patch Pets: Cilantro is Full of Zest

The 8-year-old tabby is a friendly cat looking for an empty lap to curl up in.

The herb cilantro adds a little zest to many Mexican and Indian dishes. Our Cilantro is zesty, and she even has eyes that glimmer in a shade of green similar to her namesake.

Cilantro is an 8-year-old tabby. She is a friendly cat just looking for an empty lap to curl up in. She is a very talkative and affectionate girl and will even curl up in bed with you.

She loves to play with paper, catnip toys, string, balls—just about anything!

She is used to being handled, brushed, living with other cats and being in a carrier. Loud noises startle her, and she is shy around children. She might feel more comfortable in an adult home, although she was friendly with children visiting her home.

Cilantro’s previous owners (who knew her as Bebe) wanted her to go to a person or family who can give her all the love and time possible.

If you think you could be that person in Cilantro’s life, please talk with an Animal Friends adoption counselor today. Call 412-847-7002 or visit www.ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org.

Visit Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Ohio Township, to meet more adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits.
