OLSH Airs New Television Ad
The Moon Township parochial school launches its first television advertisement since the 1990s.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School has released a new television advertisement.
The ad, which will air for the month of March on WTAE, is the Moon Township parochial school's first television spot in more than a decade.
"We haven't advertised on television since the late 1990s, so this isn't the first (television advertisement) but it's the first in a while," said OLSH spokeswoman Jessica Cerchiaro.
The advertisement, featuring shots of OLSH students and faculty members at the school's Woodcrest Avenue facility, is a part of a larger campaign for Pittsburgh's Catholic Schools Network.
The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh entered into an agreement this year with Pittsburgh's ABC affiliate WTAE, enabling area schools in the diocese to purchase airtime for an advertisement.

The advertisement is also produced by WTAE.
"It's great for us, because we want the wider community to know who we are and that we exist," Cerchairo said. "We have students from across the Pittsburgh, and we just want to sort of make our presence known."
Cerchairo said the school is considering additional television advertising.
"It's a broader campaign for the Catholic Network, but we'll be looking at this and considering (more television ads) in the future," she said.
