Robert Morris University has hired a new dean for its School of Business.
John Beehler, who joined the university in January, formerly served as the founding provost and vice president at the University of North Texas at Dallas, an institution launched in 2000.
Prior to serving as a founding leader of the university, he worked as the dean of the Haile/U.S. Bank College of Business in at Northern Kentucky University and as dean of the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University.
Beehler is a Pennsylvania native who graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting, according to an RMU announcement.
