Nearby: Man Falls to Death in Scott Township

The Mercer County man working at an industrial park near Carnegie apparently fell 30 feet to his death Tuesday.

 

Authorities have identified the Mercer County man who died Tuesday afternoon after he fell from the roof of an industrial park near Carnegie. 

Melvin Kinsinger, 38, Greenville, was working on the roof of the Future-All Incorporated building at Gregg and Hammond streets in the Scott Township industrial park when he fell 30 feet from the roof, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Glendale Volunteer Fire Department officials said he fell shortly before 3 p.m.

Scott Township police and firefighters from Glendale and East Carnegie were called to the industrial park to assist the Allegheny County homicide investigators at the scene.

An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday, according to the medical examiner.
