Robinson Police: $2,000 Stolen in Reported Burglary
An investigation into the reported home burglary is ongoing.
Robinson Police said more than $2,000 in cash was reported stolen earlier this month from a home at the 2200 block of McKees Rocks Road.
A Robinson Township man left home on June 6 and returned one day later to find his home in "total disarray," according to a police report.
Police said burlgars entered the home by dislodging a window air conditioning unit. According to a report, every drawer and cabinet in the house had been opened and ransacked and furniture was moved and overturned.
The only item missing from the home was $2,000 in cash that was stored in a tin box.
No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.
A 2006 Porsche Cayenne and more than $4,500 in cash was reported stolen from a Moon Township home on June 9 that had also been scoured by burglars, according to Moon Police reports.
