The Moon Area School Board approved the purchase of a used riding floor scrubber at a cost of $14,500.
The school board met briefly Monday evening. The Moon Area School District has cancelled classes for today due to inclement weather.
The board also approved an eighth-grade field trip to Gettsburg and Hershey Park on June 7. The cost of the trip is $315 per person.
The board approved a trip for the dance team to Akron, OH for the November 3 'Dance for the Cure" competition. All fees for the event will be paid through for through fundraising.
