Local Boy Scouts held a ceremony at Moon Park to properly retire American flags. 

Scouts and community leaders commemorated the event on Sept. 8 alongside Allegheny County Councilman Matt Drozd, who spoke at the ceremony. The event was also sponsored by the Moon Township Republican Committee.
