It’s Friday, and you're still trying to decide what to do for the weekend. You're in luck. Moon Patch is here with a few ideas. Check out our five Easter-themed picks, and tell us about yours.

 

Go to Church!

When/Where: today, Saturday or Sunday various churches in the Sewickley area are having services for Easter. 

Why Go: It’s Easter! Even if you’re not a church-goer, it’s a great time to see the children dressed in their Sunday best, to reconnect spirtually or to spend time with family.

Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthews AME Church, Sewickley

Why Go:  Hop on over and hunt for eggs on the lawn of the church.

Moon Township's Easter Bunny Trail

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Moon Park. 

Why Go: Meet with the Easter bunny and play games at Moon Park in this annual springtime event.

See a Movie

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. at various times Saturday and Sunday at Cinemark Robinson Township and XD, Robinson Township. 

Why Go:  What better way to spend the Easter weekend than a classic fable about good and evil. Julia Roberts stars in Mirror Mirror, based on Snow White, a a retelling of one of the most beloved stories of all-time.

Attend a Fish Fry

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at the Leetsdale VFW.

Support Friends of Sewickley Library at Bruegger's

When/Where: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Bruegger's Bagel Bakery in Sewickley

Why Go: Saturdays through April 21, if you bring a coupon off the library's website or from the back of the library's newsletter 15 percent of your total purchase will go to make the library a better place.

Admission: Free, cost depends on menu choices.
