When/Where: 7-9 tonight at Sweetwater Center for the Arts.
Why Go: Here's your last chance this month to enjoy sweet jazz in an intimate setting featuring Kenia. The internationally known, Pittsburgh-based Brazilian vocalist combines jazz, samba and bossa nova.
Admission: $12 for members and $18 for nonmembers.
When/Where: 7 tonight in the auditorium at Quaker Valley High School, Leetsdale.
Why Go: Join the cast of the high school musical for a family-friendly evening of entertainment showcasing individual talents at the annual fundraiser.
Admission: $5. Walk-ins welcome.
When/Where: 6:30 tonight at the auditorium, Moon Area High School, 8353 University Blvd.
Why Go: Local Moon high bands, teachers' bands and likely a guest appearance from some of The Clarks of local fame will perform. There will also be a Chinese auction. All proceeds from the student project go to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
Admission: $3 at the door.
When/Where: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Matthew AME Church, Sewickley.
Why Go: The historical church in the heart of Sewickley is serving an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Come eat, and enjoy the fellowship.
Admission: Free.
When/Where: 9 a.m. Saturday at War Memorial Park, Sewickley.
Why Go: Proceeds raised from the student project support troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanista at the Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors in Bluemont, VA.
Admission: $25 for the run and $15 for the walk.
When/Where: 11 a.m. Saturday at Sewickley Public Library.
Why Go: Create art with a regal spin, make attire for kings and queens, a castle fit for any prince or princess and maybe even a dragon puppet or two in this family program.

Film Series: "They Chose China"
When/Where: 2 p.m. Saturday in Gregg Theater, Sewickley Academy .
Why Go: Watch a free movie, and learn something in the process. They Chose China is a documentary by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Shuibo Wang who shows the story of 21 American soldiers who opted to stay in China after the Korean War ended in 1954. There will be a moderated discussion after the film.
Admission: Free. The film includes some graphic war images. Parental discretion is advised.
When/Where: 6 p.m. Saturday at Giant Eagle Market District, Robinson Township.
Why Go: Escape to cooking school, and join Chef Luke Cypher, a culinary and beer consultant, to taste some winter beers, including limited-time winter brews. Chef will share his favorites from the store's 700-plus beer selection. Food pairings are included. Must be 21 with photo ID.
Admission: $15, which includes five 4-ounce pours of beer. Register here.
When/Where: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Ferris Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport, 8256 University Blvd, Moon.
Why Go: Just in time for spring, the Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport brings its annual Bridal Show, with photographers, tuxedo shops, travel agents, ice creations and limousine companies all in one spot.
Admission: Free.
When/Where: Daily through May 13. Weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
Why Go: Maneuever a variety of vehicles around a test track. Try a chariot, swing car or rickshaw. A variety of wheels, wheel building and wheeled vehicles are introduced to visitors throughout this family-friendly exhibit.
Admission: $12 adult/ $11 senior citizens and children 2-18. Children 2 and younger are admitted free.
