Food Fight: Best Soups in Moon

We hate to say it, but the soup poll went a bit cold this week. Meanwhile, your Patch neighbors across the river were all over this Food Fight like a croutons on tomato dill.

We strongly suspect that Moon residents love their soup, but perhaps all thoughts of bowls of warm comfort have been eclipsed by worries of whether your turkey will thaw in time for the big meal.

We were hoping for a regular soup smackdown, but we're not feeling the enthusiasm. It's not that there's no delicious soup in Moon. Eat n'Park got a mention on our Patch Facebook page, and who doesn't like to dip her Smiley Cookie into a nice bowl of broccoli cheese. But a contest like this calls for lots of contestants. You'll have more chances to nominate and vote favorite foods into office. Please, one four-year term, only. Unless you are the winning Smiley Cookie, then you can do an FDR and stay for as long as you like.

Every week we'll host a Food Fight. So keep watching this space, and next time, speak up, people!

The soup at the Ground Round is usually awesome soup. The tomato dill across the river at the Sewickley Cafe is the best. Glad I have the recipe.
