Facebook Representatives to Host Pittsburgh Area Workshop on Privacy, Internet Safety
The event will take place at 7 p.m. April 18. It is free and open to the public.
Facebook representatives will be in town April 18 to host an Internet safety workshop that will present information on responsible social networking, privacy settings and online safety, among others.
Pennsylvania Deputy Attorney General Anthony Marmo will also attend to discuss Internet privacy and related topics. Marmo is the western region's civil enforcement officer for technology and computer-based offenses.
The workshop is also being co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the office of U.S. Representative Jason Altmire.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the Oblock Junior High School Auditorium, 440 Presque Isle Drive in Plum.
It is free and open to the public.
