Crescent Man Tased at DUI Stop

Moon Police responded to the following recent incidents and made the following recent arrests. Each item is a reflection of police and court records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction.
- Shawncie Rae Henderson, 26, of Stowe, was charged with retail theft and conspiracy to committ retail theft on Dec. 5 at Kmart on Market Place Boulevard. Police said Henderson attempted to steal nearly $200-worth of items from the store.
- Robert David Harris, 23, of Crescent, was charged with escape, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and driving with a suspended license on the evening of Dec. 3. Police subdued Harris with a Taser gun after he exited his vehicle and ignored police orders to stop, according to a complaint.
- Andrew Taravella Jr., 39, of McKees Rocks, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Dec. 7.
- Lee Middleton Corbett, 32, of Ambridge, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and speeding on Dec. 9.
