Chance of Snow Showers in the Forecast

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of snow showers for the Pittsburgh area this week.

 

Robinson and Moon will enjoy a reprieve today from hazardous weather, but snow showers are in the forecast for Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Moon Township.

Here is the latest from the National Weather Service:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 23. West wind 7 to 9 mph. Partly cloudy tonight, with a low around 11. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Thursday:  A slight chance of snow showers after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 29. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Also a chance of snow showers Thursday night, mainly before 3 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. West wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. Mostly clear Friday night, with a low around 12.
