Update: Car Rolls Over in University Boulevard Crash
One driver was said to be inside a van that rolled on its side after a University Boulevard crash.
Update: A van rolled onto its side after a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of University Boulevard and Tiger Trail.
Moon Officer Shener Ulke said two passengers in a blue Toyota Rav4 were taken to Sewickley Valley Hospital to be treated for minor injuries after a truck rear-ended it in front of Bob Evans on University Boulevard.
The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. Friday. Both vehicles were traveling southbound on University Boulevard.
The truck driver, a Comcast subcontractor, has been charged with careless driving. His name was not immediately available.
Early reports said one driver was possibly trapped in the van at the time of the collision, though Ulke said both passengers were able to exit the van.
