Brothers Charged in Video Store Robbery Face Hearings
Coraopolis District Court Calendar for Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Two brothers charged with robbing Family Video on Fifth Avenue with BB guns face hearings today in Coraopolis District Court.
Moon Police said Jerome Cutler, 23, of Beaver Falls, and Willie Cutler, 21, of Greensburg, used BB guns to rob the video rental store of more than $500 cash in August. They also were charged earlier this summer in an armed Family Video robbery in Scott Township.
Two store employees were present for the robbery; no one was injured in the incident.
Willie Cutler is charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy and possessing instruments of crime. His brother Jerome is charged robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and criminal conspiracy.
Police said the men used a getaway driver to flee from the store. The driver’s 2-year-old daughter was a passenger in the car at the time of the incidents, according to police.
Other hearings scheduled for today in Coraopolis District Court:
- Tiffany Michelle Skerlec, 27, of Aliquippa, was charged by Moon Police Aug. 29 with prohibited acts, criminal conspiracy and endangering the welfare of children.
- Dominic Joseph Ceraso, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged by Moon Police July 7 with writing bad checks.
- Lynnette Marie Pagan, 26, of Harrisburg, was charged by Moon Police Aug. 6 with felony promoting prostitution, misdemeanor prostitution and possessing instruments of crime.
