Area Residents Graduate from Clarion University

Several areas students received diplomas during commencement ceremonies May 7 at Waldo S. Tippin Gymnasium, Clarion University.
A total of 1,140 students received degrees, including 233 master's degrees and 907 undergraduate degrees. Commencement speakers were alumni Bob Dandoy ('74) and Ian Hurbanek ('05).
Dandoy is a member of the English faculty at Slippery Rock University and president-elect of the Clarion University Alumni Association Board.
Hurbanek is a captain in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He has served five overseas tours of duty and is aircraft commander, pilot and flight safety officer.
Kayla Barthelemy, Moon Township, PA, received a BS degree in Mass Media Arts, Jour: PR.
Meagan Grau, Coraopolis, PA, received a BSBA degree in Marketing.
Natalie Wagner, Moon Township, PA, received a BSED degree in Elementary Education.
Amy Sikora, Robinson Township, PA, received a BSED degree in Sec Ed, Earth & Space Sci.
Matthew Gerger, Coraopolis, PA, received a MED degree in Education: Curr & Inst.
Arianne Sarver, Moon Township, PA, received a MS degree in Speech Language Pathology.
